Hi. My name is Nan Doerr. To tell you a little bit about myself, I am a
priest in the Episcopal Diocese of Texas.
I graduated from The Episcopal Theological
Seminary of the Southwest on May 16, 2000 with a Masters of Divinity. I was
ordained to the transitional diaconate is June 17, 2000 and I was ordained to

I am a Cursillista, a member of the Order of the Daughters of the King and a member of the Order of St. Luke. I have also been a member of the task force for Criminal Justice in the Diocese of Texas.
I bring a varied and diverse background to my ministry. In the past I have
been a high school band director, a police officer, a junior high and high
school math teacher. I have studied and been a hospital chaplain at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in

This is Sam, my husband. I consider him God’s gift. He is a willing partner on this journey in Christ. |
And this is our grandson, Jareth. He was born last May, two months early. He spent 6 weeks in Neonatal ICU before finally coming to live with Mom and Dad. |
